PIZZA PARLAY #3 CALL FOR ENTRIES

It’s no secret that we’re seeking project proposals for our next Pizza Parlay it’s been in the news, it’s been in our newsletters, we’ve tweeted about it, we’ve posted it on Facebook, we invited you on Facebook, etc., etc. (If you haven’t been invited, it’s because we’re not friends, which means you should befriend us.) So, if you have a creative project you need funding for, then propose!

 

However, if this is news to you, then I’m glad to give you some insight into what all this proposal business is about!

Urbanist and 3rdSpace present to you our 3rd Pizza Parlay, a fun party to raise micro-grants for creative projects by San Diegans. We’re revisiting home base at 3rdSpace with a pizza party generously sponsored by Pizzeria Luigi in North Park. (They’re excited to use their delicious pizza to support the local creative scene. And luckily, their location on El Cajon Blvd is just minutes away from 3rdSpace, meaning fresh out of the oven yumminess!) $12 gets you pizza and a ballot. Drinks will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to this month’s co-presenter, arts organization So Say We All.

Anyone can submit a proposal for a creative project that needs a little funding. We will select a bunch from the bunch, and Parlay attendees vote on their favorite submissions. The winning project will be announced on our blog and granted funds from the cover charge + a free, 3-month membership to 3rdSpace, co-working and club for the creative. The grant is made up of $10 from each cover, so bring your friends  the more attendees, the bigger the grant! Those who win 2nd and 3rd place also win a free one-month membership to 3rdSpace.

 

If you want to enter your project but need an extra day or two, email me by Monday the 21st to discuss. (I’m very nice. It’s probably a flaw.)

 

(Check out the FAQ there! Like I said, I’m very nice. But I’m also very busy. So, if you ask me questions that are blatantly covered in the FAQ, I’ll probably still act very nice about it, but I’ll also secretly judge you. It’s true.)
